The couple is facing a bitter custody battle for eight-year-old Ava Elizabeth, but it appears they might reunite before the divorce trial hits the courtroom if a show of affection this weekend is anything to go by. Sambora, wearing a sling on his broken left arm, was spotted tenderly kissing his estranged wife, while Locklear giggled and chatted with her ex, at one point touching the rocker's backside. Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora is seeking joint custody of his 8-year-old daughter with Heather Locklear, who filed for divorce last month after 11 years of marriage.
In papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 17, Sambora asks for joint physical and legal custody of the estranged couple's daughter, Ava Elizabeth, and requests the pair's premarital agreement be enforced. Sambora also asked the court to give up its right to order him to pay spousal support to Locklear.
Attorneys for Locklear, 44, and Sambora, 46, declined to comment on the matter Friday. Locklear filed for divorce Feb. 2, citing irreconcilable differences. The two have been separated since Dec. 26, according to the divorce filing.

Heather Locklear's father is letting it be known he wants his daughter to stop dating rock stars and find a good baseball playing boyfriend. The actress' dad, Bill, isn't letting the ink dry on his daughter's divorce papers before trying to fix her up with a replacement for her estranged husband, Bon Jovi star Richie Sambora.
The couple split at the beginning of the year, and now Bill wants his daughter to settle down again. According to magazine In Touch, he was overheard telling friends at his Westlake Village, California, golf club that he'd like his daughter to date someone like course regular Bret Saberhagen, a baseball hero. Outspoken Bill reportedly told pals, "Bret's a good guy, he's handsome. She should date someone like him and stop the nonsense with wild musicians."
